As we delved deeper into their options, we weighed the pros and cons of relocating versus renovating. Ultimately, the emotional connection to their current home and its location swayed the decision, leading us to focus on renovation. Together, we envisioned a space where Mediterranean charm would blend seamlessly with modern sophistication, creating the perfect environment for their family to thrive and entertain.

During our initial consultation, the clients shared their desire to modernize their home but remain true to its Mediterranean architecture. As we toured the house together, it became clear that the challenges went beyond just the outdated kitchen. The heavy, bulky design elements throughout the home felt out of sync with the sleek, modern atmosphere they wanted to create. Large, boxy ceilings weighed down the spaces, and dark, moody finishes made rooms feel smaller and less inviting. The kitchen lacked counter space and flow, the fireplace’s angled placement interrupted the living area, and the courtyard—a space brimming with potential—felt underutilized.
